Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of ICT to join a secondary school in Newport. This is a full-time position, initially for one term via Teaching Personnel, with a planned transition to a permanent school contract following successful completion of the initial term.
About the Role:
This opportunity sits within a thriving ICT & Business department that offers a comprehensive curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You’ll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that equip students with digital skills for the future. The ability to teach Computer Science is highly desirable.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in ICT, with strong subject knowledge and up-to-date digital pedagogy
- Preferably able to teach Computer Science across the key stages
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to student achievement, wellbeing, and inclusion
- A proactive, reflective approach to professional development
