Teacher of History – Starting January 2026

We are seeking a committed and engaging Teacher of History to join a well-established Humanities faculty within a highly ambitious secondary school in Daventry.

As Teacher of History, you will:

Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking Humanities department that values creativity, challenge, and academic rigour.

Play an active role in shaping an engaging curriculum that reflects local, national, and global historical perspectives.

Be part of a school community that values professional development, offers excellent CPD, and champions staff wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic historian with a strong subject knowledge base, a passion for inclusive education, and the ability to motivate students of all abilities to achieve their best. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
