A secondary school in Andover, Hampshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their humanities department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that shapes students' understanding of the world around them, in a school that values creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.
The Role:
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Teach a broad and ambitious curriculum that brings physical and human geography to life
- Foster a learning environment that encourages debate, enquiry, and independent thought
- Plan, prepare and assess to support all learners in achieving their potential
- Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues in a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities team
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as fieldwork, geography clubs, and themed learning events

- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent); ECTs are welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography

Contract: Full-time, permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
