Teacher of Food Technology
Start: Easter or sooner if possible
Full time, permanent role
MPS/UPS plus TLR for a candidate who may be interested in middle leadership (level dependant on experience and skills)
The school, based in the Gosport Area and considered to be a ‘Good’ School with positive sense of purpose and ethos is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology to join them at Easter or sooner if possible. Other subject teachers who are experienced in Food and or Catering are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will join one of the students most popular departments that consists of a committed team.
The school are particularly looking for someone who:
- Can promote a strong work ethic and deliver lessons that capture engagement
- Is able to promote a love for Food Technology at KS3
- Is able to develop their students into resilient and independent young learners
- Is committed to enabling all learners, irrespective of their current attainment, to achieve.
- Has experience in teaching Food and/or catering
- Qualified Teacher Status and a good first undergraduate degree
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
The school are in a strong position to support an already experienced practitioner who is seeking to move into management. Applications are also encouraged from those who believe they the skills and potential to take lead over the department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
