A well-regarded secondary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated and motivated Teacher of Food Technology to join their dynamic Design and Technology department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent teaching role, open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role:

As a Food Tech Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition, and contribute to the broader Design & Technology curriculum
• Use up-to-date facilities and modern equipment to support hands-on practical learning
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively with a supportive department committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of learning

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• A strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or Hospitality and Catering
• A creative and organised approach to planning lessons
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students
• The ability to inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence in the classroom
