Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School – Andover – September 2025 Start

A well-regarded secondary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated and motivated Teacher of Food Technology to join their dynamic Design and Technology department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent teaching role, open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role:
As a Food Tech Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition, and contribute to the broader Design & Technology curriculum
- Use up-to-date facilities and modern equipment to support hands-on practical learning
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Work collaboratively with a supportive department committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of learning
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- A strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or Hospitality and Catering
- A creative and organised approach to planning lessons
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students
- The ability to inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
