Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an English teacher on behalf of our large client school located in Bolton. This position is set to start from September 2026 on a full-time basis.
This secondary school are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher with experience in teaching, marking and assessing all areas of the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum.
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons incorporating all key areas of the curriculum.
- Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
- Provide regular and consistent feedback whilst setting appropriate targets.
- Manage classroom behaviour following school guidelines and policies.
- Excellent organisational skills
- High expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour.
The successful teacher will have a track record of excellent classroom practice and hold high expectations of their students. You will motivate and inspire students to achieve their full personal and academic potential.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE specialising in English.
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love for learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
