English Teacher (QTS Required) – Rochdale

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that challenge and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure pupils achieve excellent outcomes and are fully prepared for their examinations and future aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage learners of all abilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Support students in achieving strong outcomes in examinations and coursework.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to drive improvement.
- Contribute to the wider school community and the ongoing success of the English department.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and learning.
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
