English Teacher – Full Time – Permanent Role Starting September 2025

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Andover to recruit a dynamic English Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting September 2025.
The Role:
You’ll be joining a thriving English department, known for its high standards, well-resourced curriculum, and collaborative ethos. Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in your students.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team during protected co-planning time.
- Contribute to curriculum development and support extra-curricular enrichment.
- Take advantage of career development opportunities, including mentoring trainee teachers or leading an area of responsibility within English (for the right candidate).
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related field.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and strong classroom management.
- Passionate about raising student achievement and committed to continuous professional development.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive department.
- Experience or willingness to teach across all ability ranges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
