English Teacher – Full-Time – Andover (June to July 2025)
Start Date: Monday 2nd June 2025 | Temporary with potential to become permanent

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Andover, seeking a motivated educator to join their English department full-time from Monday 2nd June through to the end of the academic year in July 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality English lessons and building positive relationships with students across Key Stage 3 and 4. For the right candidate, there is potential for a permanent position starting in September 2025.
About the Role:

Full-time English teaching or cover role from June to July 2025

Deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS4, supporting learners of mixed ability

Strong focus on behaviour management, student progress, and curriculum delivery

Possibility of a permanent contract from September for the right candidate
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Be a qualified English teacher or experienced Cover Supervisor with a background in English
-
Have excellent classroom presence and strong communication skills
-
Be adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing a full teaching timetable
-
Have a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire young learners
-
Be committed to high expectations of behaviour and achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
