About the Role:

As part of the Design & Technology curriculum, you will be expected to teach Construction and Food Technology, helping students develop practical skills and real-world knowledge in these vital areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver inspiring Design & Technology lessons, including Construction and Food, that challenge and motivate students.
• Use innovative teaching strategies to ensure rapid and sustained progress.
• Assess student learning effectively to inform future planning.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and teaching assistants.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, with the ability to teach Construction and Food across key stages.
• A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for developing independent, creative learners.
