Job description

An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong focus on digital literacy and computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan and assess work in line with the national curriculum and departmental policies

  • Support students in developing key skills in programming, systems, and digital technologies

  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and school events

  • Work collaboratively with department colleagues to continually raise standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Specialism or strong experience in teaching Computer Science
