AM and PM teacher

Teaching Personnel are in search of a number of teachers with limited availability to work in a number of schools in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. We understand that for many who aren’t able to work full time, finding the right role can be tough.

A number of schools who use Teaching Personnel will request staffing to cover areas such as PPA cover, meeting cover, SLT time etc in either a morning or afternoon. The times for each session are as follows;

Morning session – 8:15/8:30 am – 12:30/13:00 pm

Afternoon session – 12:30/13:00 pm – 15:15/15:30 pm

You as the teacher will be expected to arrive at the school with you valid DBS on the update service as well as a form a photo ID, from there you will be assigned to a class to deliver pre planned work. On completion of your morning or afternoons cover the marking from the work completed is essential and hand over notes left for the class teacher.

This is a brilliant opportunity for any teacher who has existed commitments and doesn’t wish to work full time. The role offers the opportunity to visit a number of primary schools in Sheffield where no two days are the same.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
