Full-Time Teacher – Alternative Provision (Wirral)

An alternative provision based in Wirral is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join its committed team. This full-time, temp-to-perm position offers a rewarding opportunity for an educator who thrives in a supportive, student-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of learners.

  • Support students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture in collaboration with a small, supportive team.

  • Effectively manage challenging behaviour using a compassionate and consistent approach.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and help develop strategies to support student progress and wellbeing.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.

  • Experience in alternative provision, SEN, or working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Creative, flexible, and able to adapt teaching approaches to suit diverse learning needs.

  • Committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and motivating environment for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
