Are you a fully qualified teacher based in West Drayton?

Do you have good behaviour management and a strong temperament?

The Role:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 to small groups of SEMH pupils
  • prepare lessons and resources
  • mark and assess work
  • develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils
  • use special equipment and facilities, such as audio-visual materials and computers to stimulate interest in learning

The School:

This school is located in West Drayton, 5 minutes from West Drayton train station. The grounds include a spacious playground, a large canteen and assembly hall. With a separate year 7 block

  • Hours for Pupils: 8:30 to 2:45
  • Hours for Staff: 8:15 to 3:00/3:30
  • Pay:£150 a day

The Pupils:

  • Pupils that have been fixed term or permanently excluded from school
  • Pupils that are at risk of permanent exclusion
  • Pupils with an identifiable special need which does not require a statement of Special Educational Need e.g. young mums, pupils that are unable to attend school for medical reasons
  • Pupils requiring education other than at school e.g. disaffected pupils
  • Pupils who require additional support in school
  • Students that have moved in Hillingdon and are without an immediate school place

The Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Background in KS3 or KS4
  • Proven track record (excellent references)
  • Strong behaviour management
