Teacher for PRU

Are you a qualified teacher who wants to gain valuable experience in an alternative provision?

Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of children with their ability to teach. The provisions support both primary and secondary children with Additional Needs, which could include Autism, Mental Health, ADHD and communication and interaction difficulties. The roles will be based in the Rotherham area.

About the role:

• As a teacher in an alternative provision you will lead smaller classes of students and make lessons as accessible and engaging as possible.
• You will be supported by a welcoming team of staff in each provision you join.
• Preferably you will have experience with students with SEN and the ability to facilitate the specific requirements of pupils.
• You must be calm, patient and playful in order to build the best rapport with your students and your lessons should reflect this positive and creative nature.
