Teaching Personnel are actively expanding our team of talented teaching assistants in Hull for the next academic year 2022/2023. If you're Looking for a new career in education, or if you're a carer/support worker you may have the desirable transferable skills required for education. If you are looking for flexible supply work to fit around other commitments, or a long term position we can help you find the perfect role. About our roles:

  • Full-time or Part-time teaching assistant roles
  • Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Multiple posts starting from September 2022
  • Speciality schools throughout Hull and surrounding areas 
  • Competitive pay rates of £70-90 a day depending on experience

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals who have learning or behavioural needs, either in a professional or personal capacity, or skills which are transferable to this role
  • Youth work or care work would also be considered as relevant experience
  • Passionate about helping pupils on a 1-1 or small group basis
  • TA qualifications desirable but not essential

Our Expectations:

  • Have or be willing to get a Child only DBS on the update service and have right to work in the UK.
  • A hard working and positive attitude and willingness to work between 8:30 – 15:30.
  • Confidence working with children with a range of learning difficulties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
