Supply Teachers (SEND)

Teaching Personnel are the largest supply agency in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for a bank of Supply Teachers to work across our SEN schools within the Plymouth area. As a supply teacher, you will benefit from great flexibility, competitive rates of pay and the diversity that comes from working across different schools.

• Post title: SEND Teacher
• Competitive pay: £110-£150 per day
• Start date: ASAP

As a supply teacher, you would deliver the work left by the class teacher and leave brief feedback at the end of the day. To work as a supply teacher, you must hold QTS, have experience within a primary/secondary school, and be able to provide good references.

Working as a Supply Teacher is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to reduce their working hours and for a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to broaden their experience and identify the ideal type of school for them to secure permanent work in. Working as a supply teacher across schools to showcase skills can often lead to our candidates being taken onto a permanent school contract if desired.

• Roles vary in full-time and part-time positions
• Short-term and long-term positions available
• Both Primary and Secondary trained teachers encouraged to apply!
• SEN Specialism or Inclusion Specialism is desirable

To work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38 plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
