Supply Teacher - Primary

We are currently looking for supply teachers to work on a day to day basis, within Swale, We are looking for candidates in Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey.

For this role you must have the desire to continue motivating and inspiring children towards learning. Your specialism can be in any year group or Key Stage as we have requests across the board. However, it would be helpful if you are happy to provide cover in year groups that aren’t your specialism

You may be an NQT looking for wider experience before settling into a permanent role or a seasoned teacher who wants to step away from a full time commitment and have the flexibility of when and where you work. You may even already be registered with an agency, but want to spread the net in terms of available work. We work with a number of primary schools who require day to day, medium and long term cover.

To become part of the Teaching Personnel supply team and be considered for this role you must:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status, be a Newly Qualified Teacher or hold another recognised teaching qualification
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate within the previous 12 months / a DBS certificate which is on the Update Service / Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS
  • Be able to prepare innovative and engaging lessons
  • Be able to acknowledge and tailor learning towards different abilities
  • Be committed and willing to work as part of a friendly team
  • Have a “can do” attitude and a passion for inspiring young minds
  • Be supportive of colleagues and pupils alike
  • Provide two professional referees
