Brilliant opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is looking for a flexible teaching role with less responsibility, but wishes to continue their passion for teaching.
The Manchester West Secondary Branch of Teaching Personnel support secondary schools across Bury, Bolton and Salford. With the demand for supply teachers increasing daily, we wish to hear from you if you're seeking flexible supply work.
The post of supply teacher is open to teachers of all levels, experience or newly qualified. This is fantastic opportunity if you are looking for an introduction to a new school, or to balance work life more effectively. If you are a strong advocate for positive behaviour management, wish to choose when you want to work and are available immediately, please see below;
- Providing general and subject specific cover across KS3 and KS4 in a wide variety of secondary schools.
- Prioritised for subject specific cover in your specialism/s, and in the schools you prefer.
- Flexible supply work around your availability and other commitments.
- Starting as soon as possible.
- No planning or marking for day to day cover, this may be required if you wish to partake in a longer term assignment.
- Competitive daily rates of pay – earning approximately GBP600 a week.
- Applicants must hold QTS or similar teaching qualifications.
The schools that are supported by Teaching Personnel across Bury, Bolton and Salford range from faith schools, academies and mixed comprehensive settings. Driving or access to a car is desirable, however all areas are accessible via public transport from central Manchester, and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
