Supply Teacher
Supply Teachers required for primary schools in the following areas:
Yeovil (BA22, BA21, BA20)
Somerton (TA11)
Sherbone (DT9)
If you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience working Primary Schools, then we may have the perfect type of work for you at Teaching Personnel.
Teaching Personnel actively work with Mainstream Primary Schools across Yeovil, Taunton, Somerton, Sherbone and surrounding areas. As a supply teacher or cover teacher, you will be expected to work in a number of primary schools across these areas. The majority of work does tend to be pre-booked, however, we do have emergency on the day cover. Working as a supply teacher can be a very rewarding job and one where you can impact on learning every day, with different children.
Pay can range from:
FQT’s: GBP90 - GDP115
You will be expected to deliver the work set by the permanent member of staff for each lesson.
You will need to use a range of behaviour management techniques and be able to use your initiative in order to deal with varying needs and ability levels.
To conclude the working day, you will be expected to dismiss the children and leave feedback for the class teacher; specifying progress made and behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
