Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Primary Schools in Portsmouth and Surrounding Areas
Contract Type: Flexible, Casual/Ad-hoc
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our team, providing flexible cover for primary schools across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for variety and the flexibility to work in different school settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Follow school policies and procedures while managing classroom behaviour.

Ensure the smooth running of lessons and activities as per provided plans.

Support students’ individual learning needs, promoting engagement and progress.

Maintain clear communication with school staff to ensure continuity for students.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
-
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments.
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Flexibility and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
-
A proactive approach to teaching and learning, ensuring students are engaged and supported.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
