Teaching Personnel are working in Partnership with a number of Secondary Schools and Academies across North Cornwall who are looking to appoint Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors. I am looking for highly motivated, confident and engaging individuals who are keen to enhance the education of young people. Working across various schools you will gain an insight into the education of the young people of Cornwall and have a direct impact on their education and development.
As a Supply Teacher you will be required to:
- Provide cover on lessons where class teachers are unable to attend due to sickness, maternity, paternity etc.
- Deliver pre-planned work to groups of up to 30 students.
- Provide guidance and support to students 1:1 in class.
- Have excellent knowledge and awareness of safeguarding and the issues young people are facing.
- Follow schools behaviour policies to maintain school standards.
- Have experience working with young people aged 11-16.
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Being a Supply Teacher is an excellent way of gaining initial teaching experience to enhance future teacher training applications.
The ideal candidate will be available at least 3 days per week, have experience working with young people or have a bachelors degree and be looking to gain experience in working with young people.
