Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across the NP12 area starting in September. Whether you're looking for full-time supply or a few days a week, we can offer flexible work to suit your schedule – all while earning £166.32 or more per day.


The Role:

  • Provide classroom support to pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Step in to assist teachers with planned lessons, group tasks, and 1:1 support.
  • Work on a flexible, day-to-day basis – choose the days that suit you.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Support children with a range of needs including SEN, behaviour and literacy/numeracy gaps.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • A child-only enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Ability to travel to schools within the NP12 catchment (e.g. Newbridge, Blackwood, Crumlin).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
