Cover Supervisor – Basingstoke

Immediate Start | Flexible, Part‑Time & Full‑Time Roles Available

Are you a recent university graduate, aspiring teacher, or an unqualified educator looking to gain classroom experience? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in Basingstoke to support local secondary schools, with opportunities available to start ASAP.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and create a positive, focused and engaging learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You may also support students with special educational needs (SEN), providing additional guidance to help them stay on track and achieve their potential.

  • Are confident, adaptable, and resilient in a classroom environment
  • Can support students with SEN or additional needs
  • Possess strong communication skills and build positive relationships
  • Show a genuine enthusiasm for supporting and inspiring young people
