Supply Teacher - Day-to-day
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to join our pool for day-to-day cover across our Primary Schools schools in Burnley and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers who thrive on variety, enjoy working in different school settings, and want the flexibility to manage their own schedule.
As a Supply Teacher, you’ll step into classrooms to deliver pre-set lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils’ progress. You’ll be confident managing different year groups, responding to the needs of the class, and ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons in line with school policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with the school’s procedures.
- Support pupils’ learning and well-being during lessons.
- Adapt to a variety of school environments, year groups, and subjects.
- Maintain professionalism and reliability in every placement.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
