Early Career Teacher - Secondary Supply

Location: Various Secondary Schools across
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Supply (with potential for long-term placements)
Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 – M2, depending on experience)

About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to start your teaching journey this January?
We are seeking passionate Secondary ECTs to join our team of supply teachers, providing high-quality teaching and learning across local secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence, and develop your teaching practice in a supportive environment.

As a Secondary Supply ECT, you’ll have the flexibility to work across a range of subjects and schools while still benefiting from ongoing mentoring, professional development, and opportunities for long-term placements or permanent roles.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) by January 2026.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A passion for teaching and inspiring secondary-age students.

  • Adaptability and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice.
