Part-Time SRB Teacher – Monmouth Primary School
Location: Monmouth
Days: 2 days per week
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Ongoing (long-term opportunity)
Pay: Minimum £166.32 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Monmouth, who are seeking a part-time SRB Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is a 2-day-per-week position within the school’s Specialist Resource Base (SRB), supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs. The school is flexible on which two days you work.

‍ The Role:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to a small group of pupils with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, the ALNCo, and external professionals
  • Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour and promote pupil engagement

✅ We're Looking For:

  • A fully qualified teacher (QTS essential)
  • Experience working within an SRB or a similar SEN setting
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach to teaching
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with ALN
