The Role:

As a recent Sports Graduate, you will be working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant with Primary and Secondary aged students with a range of additional needs. This can vary from Autism to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Most students engage well through play-based learning, arts and crafts and sport; the School have a range of Physical Education and Outdoor Education facilities. Whether you have direct experience in Special Needs Schools or not, this could be a suitable position if you are looking to begin a career in Special Educational Needs.

The School:

The School is an inclusive Special Needs School for 2-19 year olds with a range of complex learning difficulties. Almost half of the students are on the Autistic Spectrum and have a level of social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as speech, language and communication needs. The School has sensory rooms, an extensive food technology range of facilities and plenty of outdoor activities to promote motor skills.

About Teaching Personnel:

As the UK's Market Leaders in Education Recruitment, you will be employed through Teaching Personnel and will be paid on a weekly basis through our own PAYE payroll and will be on a minimum rate of GBP10.00 per hour, including holiday pay. As well as having a dedicated Consultant who will support you through placement, you will gain exclusive access to our online and in house CPD courses.
