Primary School Sports Coach

Ideally you will have a Sports Science degree or relevant experience coaching kids that range from 4 to 11 years old. You will be based in a primary school in the borough of Barnet, where you will conduct hourly sessions with various year groups. The school has recently received funding specifically to be utilised on a range of programmes and activities to encourage kids to become more active.

A reputable primary school in Barnet is currently looking for a enthusiastic sports coach to join them at the end of February as one of their permanent members of staff is going part time. The coach should have experience teaching sports to both KS1 and KS2 but also enjoy doing so. In their last Ofsted review they were rewarded GOOD due to the quality of teaching continuously endeavour to maintain and improve how the national curriculum is taught. The school is a two form entry and is partnered with an infant school to provide stability to all students.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
