Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Sports Graduate for regular Teaching Assistant work in York. The position is supporting in the delivery of all lessons at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level, to students not in Mainstream Education. If successful, the role will continue as a long term position and has the potential to become a permanent position, working directly through the School.

An ideal candidate will have:

-A degree in Sports Coaching or experience in a coaching environment

-Behaviour management skills

-Team Teach training

-A nurturing approach

-Autism Awareness Training

-De-escalation skills

The School caters for students with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD and Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social Emotional Mental Health. It is a large provision catering for students from age 4 up to Post 16.
