Hours: Term-time (plus inset days)

About Us:
We are a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the WN4 area looking to appoint a Sports Coach & Teaching Assistant to support our Physical Education department and wider school community.

Role Purpose:
As our Sports Coach & Teaching Assistant, you will assist with general classroom support and pupil engagement throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive sports and physical activity sessions to students

• Support teachers in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant, helping with learning activities

• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and pupil wellbeing

• Assist with lunchtime and after-school sports clubs and activities

• Be a positive role model and motivator for students

Person Specification:

• Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE assistant, or similar role

• Passion for working with young people and an interest in supporting learning

• Ability to work as part of a team and support classroom staff

• Good communication and relationship-building skills

• DBS check (or willing to obtain)
