Teaching Personnel are looking for a Speech and Language Assistant.
Are you skilled within Speech and Language or a Graduate?
Are you a Speech and Language student who is outstanding to graduate in January?
As an individual are you looking to put your theoretical knowledge into practise in a school setting to aid children access the curriculum? If your aim is to qualify within Speech and Language Therapy and build your experience supporting school children, then please apply for this Speech and Language Assistant role today!
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious therapist; the school is an alternative provision who enjoy learning through play and outdoor education. The school is eager to employ an individual who can support children with speech and language difficulties ensuring their attendance, access and aspirations remain high. The SEN department is led by an encouraging SENCo who is skilled in ensuring pupils with additional needs thrive.

Ideally you will have some experience working with children and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the issues faced by children with Special Educational Needs in the classroom. You will be patient, resilient and able to think on your feet to respond to different learner needs.
