Salary: 92.63-100 per day

We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming educational setting in the Corby (NN18) area. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised support.
- Provide both 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Help implement strategies and support plans to encourage engagement, independence and positive outcomes.
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy and resilience.
- Has strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Can adapt their approach to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
