Specialist Teaching Assistant - Care Based Experience Desirable (S70)


Teaching Personnel are working with a Speciaist School Provision in the S70 area, seeking care experienced individuals keen for a new challenge. To be successful in this role, you will need to be nurturing, proactive and flexible.

Role Information:

  • Availability of both part-time and full-time roles
  • No school based experienced required
  • Start dates vary - We have 4 x roles commencing in January
  • Pay will vary depending on experience - Ranging between £85-100 per day.

School Information:

This speciaist school provides support and care for children and young people aged between 2-19. Students at the school may have a range of learning difficulties - Including, Autism, ADHD, Sensory processing conditions and Physical Disabilities. Many schools in the school use Wheelchairs - Therefore Moving and Handling training is desirable (but not essential).Class sizes are between 4 and 6 pupils and they cater for a wide range of needs and provide an environment that is matched to pupils’ profiles. Some children who attend this school are non verbal and use communication aids to support this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
