Special needs teaching assistant - Harrogate

Are you looking to gain SEN experience within a supportive Mainstream school?

Are you a recent graduate looking to work with SEN pupils ahead of a future in Psychology?

Do you have the passion and drive to pursue your career within teaching and SEN support?

* Special needs teaching assistant -

* Immediate and September start

* Full time - Full academic year

A vibrant primary school in Harrogate is seeking several Graduate Teaching Assistants to join immediately to provide 1:1 support.

The Head teacher is seeking passionate and focused individuals who are confident to provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of learning and behavioural difficulties.

This supportive School aim to inspire, Challenge and motivate pupils where the highest aspirations and expectations are held by all associated with the School.

The suitable Graduate Teaching Assistants who would work well must be ambitious, confident and organised. SEN experience would be preferred but is not essential, being able to adapt and make excellent progress with these pupils is key.

When providing 1:1 support you must be able to identify areas of need and adapt to a range of learning difficulties, you will be required to work closely with the SEN Coordinator and the class teacher on the pupils achievements as well as the pupils individual plan to ensure they have the opportunity to achieve to their full ability.
