Special Educational Needs Secondary Teacher required for SEN School - Peterborough

We are looking for a SEN Secondary Teacher for students with SEMH in a secure unit. The school supports pupils aged 11 - 16 years old and delivers an engaging curriculum which includes core subjects alongside an exciting vocational offer. The curriculum and classes are designed to meet the needs and interests of pupils and prepare them for further learning and life.
About the Role
- Secondary Curriculum Teacher
- Planning and Teaching tailored lessons to Secondary age students who have been excluded from mainstream education
- Class sizes are small and include specialist support
- School offers ongoing internal training
- Uphold all safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies
Key Skills
- QTS or extensive teaching experience
- Successful class room teaching experience
- Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to
- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum
