Position: Part-Time Spanish Teacher 

Location: Secondary School in North Plymouth

Start Date: September 2023

We seek a passionate and dedicated part-time Spanish Teacher to begin in September 2023. This position offers an exciting opportunity to positively impact students' lives and contribute to their language learning journey at a well-established secondary school in North Plymouth, committed to providing an excellent education for students. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, dedicated to maintaining and exceeding this standard.

We are open to considering candidates who do not hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as long as they have relevant experience and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to secondary school students.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the Spanish language and culture.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • A strong passion for teaching Spanish and a desire to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and differentiate instruction to cater to different learning styles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Commitment to professional growth and a willingness to participate in continuous professional development opportunities.
