Spanish Teacher 

Are you a passionate and dedicated Spanish teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners? Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Luton. The role is to teach Key Stage 3 Spanish only as part of your timetable on a full-time, contract basis for the full 25/26 academic year.

Position: Spanish Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract from September 2025 - July 2026
Start Date: September 2025 (or ASAP)

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to secondary students (KS3)

  • Plan and prepare lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to varying abilities

  • Encourage student progress and enthusiasm for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures

  • Collaborate with the Modern Foreign Languages team to develop resources and assessments

  • Support students’ exam preparation (GCSE) and monitor their academic progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and curriculum

  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level is preferred

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students of all abilities

  • Enthusiasm for language learning and cultural exchange

This is a large Secondary Academy well-established in the Luton, area for providing a successful secondary school with sixth form to over 1200 students. Within the Luton area, this Academy has a good reputation and is proud to be measured as Good in all areas of their latest Ofsted inspection in 2024, noting, "Pupils are proud of their school". The school is in an ideal location for Teachers looking to travel from Bedford, Milton Keynes or Hertfordshire, as it is accessed via the A6 or M1.
