Spanish Teacher

Opportunity within the Modern Foreign Languages department of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school, known for consistently good results.

• Full-time Spanish teacher.
• Teaching pupils aged 11-16.
• Required September 2020 or earlier.
• Secondary school based in Bolton.
• Paid to teaching scale (GBP24,373-GBP40,490).

Our client secondary school is known for consistently good results and its welcoming staff community alongside the policies in place to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.

The incoming teacher will be required to take on full planning and marketing responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. It will also be important to plan and deliver differentiated Spanish lessons to pupils at varying levels of learning. The incoming teacher will also be required to monitor pupil attainment and highlight pupils who are underperforming or need additional support to meet their targets.

The school is located within Bolton and can be accessed via the A58 and M61 from surrounding areas such as Bury, Farnworth and Radcliffe.  The school can also be accessed by bus and train routes from neighbouring areas and the centre of Bolton.

Both newly qualified and experienced Spanish teachers are welcome to apply to this position and must have experience teaching up to GCSE level previously.
