Sociology Teacher QTS – Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate Start Available

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher looking to inspire students to think critically about society and the world around them? Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools across Derbyshire seeking a dynamic and engaging Sociology specialist to join their Social Sciences or Humanities department.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is an exciting opportunity to help students develop analytical skills and a deeper understanding of contemporary issues.


Role Highlights:
Teach Sociology at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (depending on school placement)

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
✅ Degree in Sociology or a related field
✅ Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Sociology
✅ A passion for current affairs, social issues, and student engagement
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
