SENDCo Opportunity – Primary School in Wallingford
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the beautiful town of Wallingford is seeking a dedicated SENDCo to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to ensuring all pupils have access to high-quality education tailored to their needs.
About the Role:
- Lead and manage the provision for children with SEND across the school
- Work closely with staff, parents, external agencies, and the SLT to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils
- Oversee EHCPs, provision mapping, and targeted interventions
- Maintain and update SEND records in line with statutory requirements
- Inspire and support staff in delivering inclusive teaching strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Proven experience supporting children with a range of needs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A child-centred approach with a commitment to inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
