Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Schools in Wigan

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Wigan, with a high demand for staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for consistent work within welcoming and inclusive school environments.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Supporting students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
  • Promoting engagement, confidence, and progress in the classroom

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
