Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistants Required

Permanent & Temporary Opportunities Across Leicestershire

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a number of specialist SEND schools across Leicestershire. We have a range of full-time permanent and temporary positions available, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with a variety of additional needs, providing both one-to-one and small group support. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Requirements

To be considered for these roles, you must have:

✅ Previous experience working with SEND children or young people
✅ Experience within either a primary or secondary school setting
✅ A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
