Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our supportive SEND primary school in Haywards Heath is looking for a dedicated SEND Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team.
In this vital role, you will work closely with primary-aged boys, providing tailored support to help them overcome learning difficulties and achieve their academic potential. You’ll be part of a nurturing environment where every child’s unique needs are understood and championed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs in their day-to-day learning
- Assisting with individual and group activities to promote engagement and progress
- Collaborating with teachers to implement tailored learning plans
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
What we’re looking for:
- Experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach to supporting learning and development
- Commitment to promoting every child’s wellbeing and success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
