Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: 150-200+ per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role: We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join Teaching Personnel, supporting specialist schools in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
You will teach a small class of pupils with a range of needs, such as ASD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties, delivering personalised learning that supports both academic achievement and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised support strategies
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external agencies
- Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches as needed
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND pupils (desirable)
- Strong understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
