Job description

If you are a teacher who lights up when a pupil has breakthroughs, or has always felt pulled towards a setting where relationships matter, this may be the perfect job opportunity for you.

A fantastic specialist school in Bradford is seeking a compassionate, creative SEND Teacher to join their team. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, and create calm, structured environments where children can feel safe and genuinely thrive.

This role is perfect for:

  • ECTs ready to start their teaching journey somewhere supportive and nurturing

  • Mainstream teachers who want a new challenge and the chance to work more closely with individual learners

  • Experienced SEN educators looking for a fresh, rewarding setting

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching a small class of pupils with additional needs, supported by skilled TAs

  • Delivering lessons that are flexible, engaging and shaped around each pupil’s strengths

  • Working closely with therapists, SENCOs and pastoral teams to build consistent routines

  • Celebrating every step forward, not just the big milestones

  • Creating a classroom where pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn

What the school is looking for

  • Someone with QTS or working towards it

  • A teacher who’s patient, resilient and naturally warm

  • Confidence adapting lessons for a range of needs

  • A team player who values communication and steady routines

  • No SEN experience? Not a dealbreaker. If you’re curious, committed and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in.

Why choose Teaching Personnel?

  • Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella deductions

  • Access to free online CPD, including SEN-specific training

  • A dedicated consultant who knows the local SEN landscape

  • Long-term opportunities in brilliant specialist settings

  • A chance to grow your skillset in a school that genuinely appreciates its staff
