We're looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable SEND Support Assistants to join fantastic specialist SEN schools in Aylesbury on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role
You'll be supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary age groups with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Complex Needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
✔ Available 5 days a week on a long-term basis
✔ Experienced working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND), or has a background in support work, care, healthcare or residential care
✔ Happy to support with personal care where required
✔ Patient, resilient and compassionate
✔ A positive team player with excellent communication skills
✔ Passionate about helping children thrive both inside and outside the classroom
What You'll Be Doing
✨ Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✨ Helping children access learning and engage in classroom activities
✨ Encouraging communication, independence and confidence
✨ Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
✨ Assisting with personal care while promoting dignity and respect
✨ Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to provide the very best support for every pupil

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
