SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary | Aylesbury | September Start

We're working with a number of fantastic specialist SEN schools in Aylesbury who are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams this September.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary age groups with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Complex Needs.
You'll work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual goals.

✔ Experienced working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
✔ Available to work 5 days per week from September
✔ Happy to support with personal care where required
✔ Patient, resilient, compassionate and positive
✔ A confident team player with excellent communication skills
✔ Passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
Your Responsibilities
✨ Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✨ Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
✨ Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development
✨ Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation
✨ Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment
✨ Assist with personal care where required, always promoting dignity and independence
✨ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to support pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
