SEND position, Kingston School, immediate start date.

Job description

We have a fantastic 2 form entry Primary school based in Kingston Upon Thames, SW London. The school are looking for a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student in KS1, this role is full time and is to start immediately.

The school is located closely to Kingston station, with fantastic transport links to the school and being a short distance from the lively town centre you'll have everything available to you.

They boast a well established SLT, who are supportive and bring a real team atmosphere to the school. This is one of the main reasons why they have low turnover of staff. The head teacher is looking for a candidates that can make a difference from day one at the school, I am looking for someone with a genuine passion for improving the well being and education of the pupils at this school.

The ideal candidate would be an experience working 1:1 with SEND students, who have ASD (Autism) or behavioural needs. The students are very active and so the role would suit someone with lots of energy who is happy to be on their feet for most of the day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
