Job Title: SEND Maths Teacher (KS3–KS4)

Location: Thurleigh, MK44

Contract Type: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Maths Teacher to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role involves delivering tailored Maths interventions and supporting learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to help them build confidence, skills, and independence in Maths.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to SEND students

  • Provide small-group and one-to-one Maths support

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff

  • Monitor student progress and contribute to support plans and reviews

  • Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4

  • Experience working with SEND learners (e.g. ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia)

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
